Nearly 25,000 residences in south-east Queensland woke up experiencing outages on Monday's dawn after intense storm systems swept through the state, bringing strong winds reaching 109km/h.
Large Frozen Precipitation and Broad Damage
Residents witnessed substantial frozen pellets measuring up to 7cm in particular locations. Weather authorities announced that different parts across the state had been impacted by large hailstones.

Emergency response teams received over five hundred requests for assistance across the area, primarily for building damage but also for collapsed vegetation and inundation.

Damp conditions were expected to linger along large portions of eastern Queensland this coming days as a weather pattern continued to attract humidity against the coast.
Tomorrow was predicted as the most rainy day, with continued storm activity anticipated across various areas of both regions.

Health officials alerted that there was an greater possibility of epidemic thunderstorm asthma across the state's northern country region, particularly given the current weather patterns.
